Munther Emad was born in Gaza. He completed his Bachelor of Sociology/Psychology at Bethlehem University, where he was inspired to advocate for peace and justice. Lyndall Katz is dedicated to social justice and peace. She is co-convenor of Jewish Voices for Peace and Justice in Sydney and is a franchise deputy on the NSW Board of Deputies. She is a skilled facilitator and has led many workshops on eliminating antisemitism, ending racism and listening to children through play.
Ruby Mitchell is an atheist Jewish student undertaking her final year of her BA, with majors in Government and International Relations, and Jewish Civilisation. She intends pursuing postgraduate studies in Jewish Civilization next year, specialising in Medieval Jewry and antiisemitism and its links to the ancient and modern worlds.
Abe Quadan is a conflict resolution practitioner and a child protection specialist. Abe is of Palestinian background and is co‐founder of the Palestinian - Jewish Dialogue Group and an active member of the Palestinian community in Sydney. Abe is a passionate and strong believer in peace with justice and in coexistence for Palestinians and Israelis.
Shifra Waks is passionate about learning new languages and breaking down barriers through engagement and personal relationships. She studied Arabic at Damascus university and lived with a Syrian family for seven months when she was 18. Since then, she has traveled twice to the West Bank and once to Jerusalem to intern and she is currently completely her final semester of International and Global studies, majoring in Chinese.
