Mickey Gitzin, the director of Israel Hofshit (Be Free Israel), is one of Israel's most savvy political activists. With a few clicks of the button, his movement has compelled thousands into the streets to protest against Israel's close relationship between religion and state, Israel Defence Force (IDF) exemptions for the Haredim (Ultra-Orthodox) and the victimisation of a young girl on a bus by Haredim for dressing 'immodestly'. In this session, he'll explore the power of the young generations in forcing political change, organised through the power of their e-voices.
