Alan Rosen

Avraham (Alan) Rosen PhD is the author or editor of ten books, most recently The Wonder of Their Voices: The 1946 Holocaust Interviews of David Boder (author) and Approaches to Teaching Wiesel’s Night (editor). Two edited collections are due out in the coming year: Elie Wiesel: Jewish, Literary, and Moral Perspectives and Literature of the Holocaust. He was a research fellow of the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah and has held fellowships at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Yad Vashem. He has taught at universities and colleges in Israel and the United States and he lectures regularly at Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies. Born and raised in Los Angeles, educated in Boston under the direction of Elie Wiesel, Alan lives in Jerusalem with his wife and four children. Alan Rosen is the Betty Wilkenfeld Scholar at the Sydney Jewish Museum.
