Peter Kennard is a composer, producer and musical director with a career in theatre and musical performance spanning 20 years. He has composed and recorded countless soundtracks, and has created sound designs and musically directed live performance for many of Sydney’s major theatre companies and high profile public events including Darling Harbour New Year’s and Australia Day Fireworks, Theatre of Image, Bell Shakespeare Co, Legs on the Wall and Q Theatre. He regularly tours internationally with Stalker Theatre Co. and has 10 CD productions to his credit. Peter is a highly-regarded percussionist in Sydney's "world music" and has performed with German gypsy guitarist Lulo Reinhardt, Turkish Ney master Kim Sanders, Tabla maestro Bobby Singh, Kurdish-Turkish band Heval, and the pioneering Australian “world folk” legends Sirocco to name but a few.  He holds a Masters of Contemporary Improvisation degree from Macquarie University.
