Robin Margo was a student leader and anti-apartheid activist in South Africa and a Rhodes Scholar. Denied a passport for many years, he was eventually allowed to leave South Africa to accept a lectureship at the University of Queensland. A barrister and mediator, he is immediate past President of the Board of Deputies and President of New Israel Fund Australia.
